Enter the DRAGon: An Asian and Pacific Islander Drag Show by Haus of Kuntessa x Kasama Collective
When: Friday, November 17th, 2023 from 6-10:30pm
Where: Basic City Beer Co. Southside RVA | 212 W 6th St, Richmond, VA 23224
Tickets: $5 at the door. A portion of ticket sales will go directly towards Lahaina victims.
What: Together with the Haus of Kuntessa, we are proud to present the 2nd annual Yellow Peril Drag Show! Mark your calendars for Friday, November 17th at Basic City Beer Co. (Southside RVA) from 6-10:30pm for Enter The DRAGon: An Asian and Pacific Islander Drag Show! We’re celebrating ANHPI drag excellence with a talented cast of Queens including @youneedanapkin, @leilani.drag, @60s.sweetheart,
@theveronicavenom, and @dayabtease, hosted by Shenandoah herself.
In addition we’ll have vendors, music, food + drinks, and an after party! Market opens at 6pm, drag show starts at 8pm. This is a ticketed event with a $5 entry, and a portion of ticket sales will go directly towards Lahaina victims.

Together with the Filipino American Association of Central Virginia, we are excited to announce our next event in celebration of FAHM on Saturday, October 28th from 12-5pm at Main Line Brewery. Please join us for delicious Filipino food, specialty drinks from the bar, 20+ vendors, cultural performances, and karaoke of course! What’s a Filipino party without someone’s Tito Boy belting out his favorite song?! 🎤🎵

Mid-Autumn Festival: A Celebration Under the Moonlight

What: Kasama Collective, in partnership with The Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce (VACC), The Organization of Chinese Americans, Central Virginia Chapter (OCA-CVC), and the Asian American Society of Central Virginia (AASOCV), proudly present Mid-Autumn Festival: A Celebration Under the Moonlight!
Mid-Autumn is a special time of year that brings forth a rich tapestry of cultural traditions across Asia. Known as Tết Trung Thu, 中秋節, 月見, 추석 , and many other names, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a time to celebrate being together, gathering the harvest, and admiring the moon at its brightest and fullest illumination.
Join us for this special occasion as we present 10+ vendors and small businesses, elaborate performances featuring OCA-CVC’s Lion Dancers and Richmond’s own River City Taiko, mooncakes, cultural experiences, and fun activities for kids. Enjoy live music by DJ Ryan Hwang and the generous hospitality of The Veil, including their robust drink options and yakitori-inspired street style food by Nokoribi.

Oh! Mochi Mobile App Launch Party

What: 🍩 🍡🧋 We’re thrilled to partner with our friends at @oh_mochi_richmond for their official Mobile App Launch Party on Wednesday, September 13th from 3-8pm. Come check out their delicious mochi donuts, boba tea, Korean corndogs, a super secret menu release, and MORE. Download their new app available on app stores to shop and earn $$$ rewards that you can use towards purchases. This will be a big celebration ahead of their brand new Virginia Beach store opening at the beginning of October. Plus we’ll have seven vendors to shop and support AAPI creators.
For this event, we are going to be doing an exciting IN-STORE RAFFLE GIVEAWAY for a chance at *TWO PRIZES* that will include Kasama Collective merch, Oh! Mochi treats, and goodies from some of our vendors. We’ll be announcing details on how to participate shortly. A portion of raffle proceeds will go towards supporting Maui and Lahaina relief efforts, so don’t miss out on this chance to show up for our community.

Cocktails with Kasama: A Goodbye Summer Mixer

What: You’re invited to a low-key happy hour with Kasama Collective, hosted by The Quirk Hotel! Please join us as we tip our hats off to summer on Friday, August 25th, from 5-7pm at the Q Rooftop Bar. Our friends at the Quirk are putting together a very special cocktail item for Kasama Collective, and their delicious menu has a little something for everybody. 🍹 Plus, who can resist that view?!

What: In honor of PRIDE MONTH, we are hosting a music & arts festival showing Richmond local artists, musicians, & performers.
